Lobuche Peak lies in the Everest Region of Nepal. It is quite close to Khumbu glacier. Climbing Lobuche Peak is a challenge comparable to climbing Island Peak. However, you will feel it was worth the effort when you see the magnificent view of Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam and many other peaks from Lobuche East. This peak was first ascended by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on 25^th April 1984. It is one of the popular peaks among climbers. On the day we arrive in the Lobuche High Camp we will be staying in tents and next day early in the morning we will start our adventure for the summit if weather is favourable to us. In case of bad weather we will spend one more night in the High Camp and attempt to take the summit the next day. The trek to the Everest Base Camp can be combined with the trek to Kalapattar. It will only take three more days.

Arrival day in Kathmandu (1350 m), airport pick-up and transfer to hotel, welcome dinner and a trip briefing in the evening (D)

Day 02:

Flight to Lukla (2840 m, 25 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2610 m, 3-4 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 03:

Trek to Namche Bazar (3440 m, 6-7 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 04:

Acclimatization day at Namche Bazar, excursion to the Everest View Point, visit to the Khumjung village, monasteries, Everest National Park museum (B, L, D)

Day 05:

Trek to Tengboche (3865 m, 5-6 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 06:

Trek to Dingboche (4410 m, 5-6 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 07:

Acclimatization day at Dingboche, excursion to Chukung Valley (4730 m) and back or hike to Nagarjun Danda (5300 m, 5-6 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 08:

Trek to High Camp (5400 m, 6-7 hrs), set the camp and climbing instruction by our guide (B, L, D)

Day 09:

Summit of Lobuche Peak (6145 m) and descend to high camp (8-9 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 10:

Spare day in case of bad weather (B, L, D)

Day 11:

Trek to Pangboche (4000 m, 6-7 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 12:

Trek to Namche Bazar (3440 m, 6-7 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 13:

Trek to Lukla (2840 m, 6-7 hrs) (B, L, D)

Day 14:

Flight back to Kathmandu, free afternoon for rest and relax (B)

Guided sightseeing tour to the UNESCO world heritage sites - Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambunath, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath (B)

Day 16:

Guided sightseeing tour to the UNESCO world heritage sites - Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, farewell dinner in the evening (B, D)

Departure day, transfer to an international airport (B)
