Lobuche Peak lies in the Everest Region of Nepal. It is quite close to Khumbu glacier. Climbing Lobuche Peak is a challenge comparable to climbing Island Peak. However, you will feel it was worth the effort when you see the magnificent view of Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam and many other peaks from Lobuche East. This peak was first ascended by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on 25th April 1984. It is one of the popular peaks among climbers. On the day we arrive in the Lobuche High Camp we will be staying in tents and next day early in the morning we will start our adventure for the summit if weather is favourable to us. In case of bad weather we will spend one more night in the High Camp and attempt to take the summit the next day. The trek to the Everest Base Camp can be combined with the trek to Kalapattar. It will only take three more days.
